Back-to-School Prepping with Your Library Card

| Burlington County Library

It is that time of year again. Commercials for new school clothes are hitting the airwaves and big bins of pencils and crayons are popping up in stores. That can mean only one thing; it’s officially back-to-school season!

For educators, heading back into the classroom is easier this year with assistance from your local library. If you are a teacher, a school librarian, or a homeschool family, BCLS offers some great resources for you to share with your students. Classroom Assistant allows you to request a variety of library materials to complement your curriculum and assist students in research and learning. By filling out the online form, you can choose the kind of assistance you need and our library staff will curate a package of project specific resources, including books and digital materials.

Educators can also browse the list of subjects offered in the Classroom Kits. These fantastic kits contain multiple copies of books, DVDs, and other library materials to help your students fully understand a subject. Topics include historical events, scientific subjects, and robotics. After use, the Classroom Kits and Classroom Assistant materials can be dropped off at your local library.

Going back to school is a breeze with a little help from your library card!
