Stay Engaged with Museum Passes
Summer can be a difficult time to keep children and young adults involved and engaged with learning outside the classroom. Luckily, learning can be fun for the entire family! With a BCLS library card, you can reserve a pass to a variety of great attractions and educational sites that our area has to offer.
With more than 30 different passes available to choose from, there are plenty of options and areas of interest that you and your child may enjoy!
Fun and Fascinating for the Whole Family!
Museums can offer something for every member of the family. Here are a few that aim to educate and enlighten any audience, with a focus on kids' involvement.
The Bucks County Children’s Museum allows children to play and learn in a safe and comfortable environment where their imagination and sense of self can bloom. Exhibits that encourage participation and exploring let kids get their hands dirty and engage with their activities.
The Children's Museum of Manhattan aims to encourage children to broaden their horizons and learn through exploration and play. With alternating programs and different exhibits, there’s lots to explore at this museum!
The Elmwood Park Zoo currently houses more than 100 species that hail from all over the globe with a mission of conservation and education, and to foster a sense of appreciation for wildlife.
The Popcorn Park Animal Refuge is a nonprofit animal sanctuary that takes in, rehabilitates and provides homes to more than 200 different creatures, domestic and exotic alike, many of which you can go visit.
The Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge is a nonprofit wildlife refuge, wildlife rehabilitation hospital and nature center on the edge of the New Jersey Pinelands. The refuge’s goal is to serve as a community resource on the importance of protecting and enhancing healthy ecosystems.
Be sure to check availability and reserve a museum pass online via the BCLS website. You can also easily search for museums offered by name and the dates available for visiting, and learn which branch locations offer physical passes. Passes can also be reserved via phone or in-person during your next library visit.
*Many of our museum partners are requiring Timed Tickets for entry. A Timed Ticket must be reserved for the same date as your museum pass reservation. For other questions, please check out our Museum Pass page or contact BCLS staff.
