Page Turners Book Club

This month's book selection is Cul-de-Sac by Joy Fielding.

The secrets of five neighboring families on a quiet cul-de-sac are awoken when someone is killed by a gunshot in the middle of the night. Who was it--or, who did it? The couple plagued by perfectionism, unmet expectations, and their troubling past? The elderly widow, or her problematic grandson who has some bad habits and worse friends? Or could it be the couple who's husband just lost his respected job, leading him down a path of depression, heavy drinking, and violent tendencies? All of these neighbors' lives are on the line.

Our book selections cover all genres and take member input into consideration. During each six month period, we discuss at least one nonfiction book and one classic book. We engage in a guided discussion of the book, using questions provided by a librarian. This book club is best suited for adults, but all are welcome to join.
