Tai Chi
This class is devoted to learning and practicing the principles of Tai Chi, especially mental and muscular release, essential for good posture, balance, and continuous whole-body movement. We begin the class with a series of stretching exercises to open and elasticize the body before turning to the Tai Chi form itself. Potential benefits include greater stability and balance, reduced stress, better mindfulness, body-awareness, and flexibility.
Loose-fitting clothes and flat-bottom shoes or slippers are recommended. Registration is not required. Instructor: Steve Steinhoff
