Fantasy Map Making - July 2, 3 pm at Burlington County Library
Ages 8-12
Sponsored by the Friends of the Burlington County Library, Inc. Use Rice Krispies cereal to create your own fantasy world map and decorate it. Registration is required.

DIY Camping Lamp – July 3, 3 pm at Pemberton Library
Ages 5+
Learn how to use everyday items to make a unique indoor camping lamp! Registration is required. 

Teen Craft: “Tie Dye” Tote Bags – July 11, 3:30 pm at Pemberton Library
Ages 12-18
Join other teens for an afternoon craft!  This week, use Sharpies and rubbing alcohol to create a one-of-a-kind tote bag! Registration is required.

Let Your Imagination Fly: Paper Airplanes – July 11, 3:30 pm at Pinelands Library
Ages 5-13
Mr. Dennis teaches us how to create a variety of paper airplanes. Once you have constructed a few, a contest will be held to test which plane flies the farthest. Registration is required.

Popsicle Stick Catapults – July 26, 3:30 pm at Pinelands Library
Ages 12-17
Learn how to make a catapult using popsicle sticks and see how far you can launch various objects! All supplies will be provided. Registration is required. 

Sewing 101: DIY Water Balloons – July 29, 2 pm at Pemberton Library
Ages 7+
Learn basic sewing skills and make your own sustainable water balloons. All materials will be provided. Registration is required.

Tic Tac Toe Rocks – July 31, 3 pm at Pemberton Library
Ages 5+
Paint small rocks to make a personalized Tic Tac Toe game! Registration is required.

Make fireflies appear and disappear, play a magical game of hide and seek with Bigfoot, and meet Presto the Super Worm who will try to read a volunteer’s mind! Predator/Prey: Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge – July 23, noon at Evesham Library
Ages 10-15
Sponsored by the Friends of the Evesham Library.  Presenters from Cedar Run will focus on the everyday struggle for survival in the forests of New Jersey. Discover who is eating whom and how each animal fits perfectly within the food chain. Registration is required.

Survival Fun with the Rancocas Nature Center – July 23, 2 pm at Maple Shade Library
Ages 11-18
Join the Rancocas Nature Center to learn some survival skills! Hopefully, you’ll never be in a true survival situation, but it all starts with a positive mental attitude and quick thinking. During this program, you’ll use interactive activities to think outside the box, learn how to avoid hypothermia, and conduct a simple potato experiment. Registration is required.

Jell-O Earthquake STEM Simulator – July 9, 2 pm at Burlington County Library

Sponsored by the Friends of the Burlington County Library, Inc. Discover who can make the most earthquake-sound structure using toothpicks, pasta, and tape…all stuck in Jell-O! With as few materials as possible, we’ll discover how different building methods affect structures during an earthquake!  

Mad Science: Earth Works – July 10, 3:30 pm at Maple Shade Library
Ages 6-11
Take a voyage to the center of the Earth! We'll investigate the powerful process that shapes our planet and forms remarkable rocks, magnificent minerals and glittering gems! Children will take home Ultraviolet Detectors, which they will build themselves! Registration is required.

Slime Time – July 11, 2 pm at Bordentown Library
Ages 7-12
Visit the library’s slime lab! You’ll be able to create your own ooey, gooey slime to take home. Registration is required.

Teen STEM: Science Heroes – July 30, 5 pm at Burlington County Library

Sponsored by the Friends of the Burlington County Library, Inc. and presented by Talewise. We’ll work together to explore and investigate amazing science concepts. Using confetti cannons, soda bottles, nail polish remover and more, participants will test out their ideas and discover the actions and reactions of physical science! Registration is required.

Wear your team colors and travel around the library to each continent. Work together to complete Roadblocks and Detours. Choose what team color to represent. Registration is required
