Libraries are special! They offer unlimited opportunities for exploration and serve as friendly gathering places for robust engagement or quiet contemplation. Study time, story time, show time – you’ll find all that and so much more at your local library. Quite simply, libraries are the lifeblood of any vibrant community and during this season of giving, we urge you to consider what the Burlington County Library System means to you.

Proudly serving the largest county in New Jersey, our network of 15 conveniently located libraries offers access to a vast array of resources, including books, eBooks, audiobooks, computers, free WiFi, exciting programs, diverse digital databases, DVDs, streaming entertainment and more. Inside our libraries, kids create masterpieces with crayons and LEGOS, adults pursue interests through workshops and classes, and families gather for magic shows and movies. There’s something for everyone! We are proud of all we have to offer the community, and grateful to have the support of several hardworking nonprofit organizations that are asking for your help on our behalf this Giving Tuesday.

Thanks to your generosity, BCLS will be able to continue to offer vital year-round programming, like Summer Reading activities at all branches, live shows in our auditorium, and updated facilities with state-of-the-art equipment. In fact, plans to redesign some of our library spaces to better accommodate emerging technologies at both the Burlington County Library and Cinnaminson branch are currently underway, and we would welcome your support to bring them to fruition. Or, consider contributing to help fund improvements and programs at any of our other fine locations.

As you give thanks this year, we ask you to show your appreciation for BCLS by donating to the Burlington County Library System Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization that raises funds for systemwide efforts and provides opportunities for legacy giving while building an endowment for a permanent, self-sustaining source of funding.
