The Pemberton Library's Youth Services department has an abundance of programs and events for kids, teens, and tweens. Families will find the Pemberton Library's spaces welcoming and fun. Come out and play!
Scavenger Hunts
Once or twice a month, Pemberton Library’s Children’s Department sets up scavenger hunts throughout the library. Separate from the monthly contests that all branches partake in, these scavenger hunts contain themed items. After finding all the items, the children make crafts with them.
In the month of March, there are two scavenger hunts. On Sunday, March 17 from 1 pm to 5 pm, children can hunt for leprechauns hidden in the shelves. Once you gather them all, solve the secret message they have for you and win a prize!
On Tuesday, March 26 from 10:30 am - 11:30 am the Children’s Area will need your help to find the missing barnyard animals! Round them up, color them in, and make a legen-dairy craft to take home.
Teen Craft Events
For artsy teens (ages 12-18), come check out the monthly DIY Craft events! Held every third Saturday of the month, teens can show off their creativity through a variety of hands-on projects.
Next month, visit the library on March 16th to make your own Daisy Wallet Chain. It's fashionable, functional, and one-of-a-kind since it's made by you! Look for other teen craft events in the future.
Family Events
Finally, you can do something with the whole family at Family Game Day! On Saturday February 24th and every other month in the future, come on by the Pemberton Library to play board games with your family.
Choose from a selection of common board games like Guess Who, Connect Four, Apples to Apples, and Candyland or challenge yourself to a strategy game like Settlers of Catan.
