For Children
Each month, bring a towel or yoga mat and join Storytime in Motion! This month, children ages 3 - 6 will explore colors through books and movement. All children are welcome to join; be sure to register for the next Storytime in Motion on Sept. 13 at 11 am.
In addition, there’s a monthly Preschool Storytime for kids ages 3 - 6, but babies and toddlers are welcome as well. Children will listen to a story, participate in a related activity, and make a craft. No registration is necessary. The next Preschool Storytime is Sept. 27 at 11 am.
For Teens
If you’re an anime or manga lover, or just interested in Japanese culture, come join the Riverton Anime Club! This is a casual watch party for teenage fans of anime that offers a fun space to hang out with fellow anime lovers. Registration is required, so sign up for the next meeting scheduled for Sept. 16 at 5:30 pm.
For Parents
Each month, parents are invited to get together with other parents to discuss a variety of topics about parenthood. Share your thoughts during Parenting and Paperbacks! Better yet, bring the kids to play with some toys while you chat. This month, the meeting is scheduled for Sept. 20 at 10:30 am; the topic of discussion is learning and school.
