New Museum Passes

| Bordentown Library

With a BCLS Library Card, you can visit over 30 museums for free. The passes are sponsored by the library and to our various Friends groups. Many of these passes also provide discounts in gift shops, on-site food vendors, and parking. We are thrilled to provide new additions to our list of participating museums and a guide to help you choose which museum to visit.

Battleship New Jersey is Back

Battleship New Jersey was dry-docked for almost 12 weeks at the Philadelphia Navy Yard and Paulsboro Marine Terminal for major work. The ship is now back on the Camden Waterfront and her Museum Pass is available again for visitors!

The USS New Jersey is open for self-guided tours every day from 10 am - 5:30 pm with last boarding at 4 pm. The Museum Pass provides admissions for two adults and three children (under 12 years old) and a 15% discount at the museum store.

New Additions to the Museum Pass Program

The Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum is a new printable pass available today! The NAS Wildwood in Cape May, NJ is a real WWII hangar. With hands-on exhibits and activities designed for the whole family, you’ll learn while feeling like you’ve gone back in time. It’s so realistic, in fact, that Historic Hangar #1 is not climate controlled, so be sure to dress accordingly!

The NAS Wildwood Museum is open daily 10 am - 4 pm. The Museum Pass admits two adults and six children (under 12 years old) and gives you a 10% discount in both the gift shop and the Flight Deck Diner.

The Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia is now available as a physical pass at Burlington County Library, Cinnaminson Library, and Pinelands Library. Children and their families will learn and play as they explore two floors of engaging exhibits. From the permanent exhibits like the Fairytale garden and the Carousel to the rotating temporary exhibits like Minnesota Children’s Museum’s Wild Kratts®: Creature Power®! You’ll be sure to find something for every child.

The Please Touch Museum is open Monday & Wednesday through Saturday from 9 am - 4:30 pm as well as select Sundays. The Museum Pass admits six people for general admission and includes free parking for two in the gated lot, a 10% discount at the cafe, free carousel rides, and up to $6 off admission for additional guests.

Additional Places to Visit

Insectropolis is the Bugseum of New Jersey located in Toms River, NJ. It’s a smaller museum, designed like a bug-themed city filled with creative displays and exotic critters. You’ll learn bug basics, play educational games, investigate disease spreaders, and visit the Insectropolis Zoo. You can even touch some bugs during the daily touch presentations! Insectropolis is open 10 am - 3 pm Monday through Friday. The Museum Pass admits up to two people.

If you’re willing to brave the heat, Morven Museum & Garden in Princeton, NJ is a gorgeous National Historic Landmark. With five acres of beautiful gardens and the former home of Richard Stockton, there’s much to learn and explore at Morven. Morven Museum & Garden is open Wednesday through Sunday 10 am - 4 pm. The Museum Pass admits up to four guests. Reserved timed tickets are recommended!

Wanna see something a little weird, but extremely educational? We have four passes available to the Mütter Museum, America’s finest museum of medical history. If you visit, you’ll see preserved specimens of human remains, models, and medical instruments and learn about the complex history of medicine. The museum is open 10 am - 5 pm Wednesday through Monday. The Museum Passes admit four people, but children five and under are free.
