Mostly 1: Crafty

You’ve always had an artsy side! You like to be creative and more than likely already have at least one crafty hobby. Why not try another? If you’re interested in needlecraft, give  knitting crocheting sewing or  embroidery a shot. If you’re feeling artistic, try painting with watercolors. And for those of you who like working with your hands, beading, papercraft or woodworking might be your best bet.

Mostly 2: Culinary

You’re probably the foodie of your friend group. Take your skills to the next level! Try a new-to-you cuisine, give sourdough a go or channel your inner pastry chef and try baking or cake decorating.

Mostly 3: Outdoorsy

You prefer being in nature to staying inside. If you like exploring and enjoy discovering new things, you might be interested in birding or foraging. For those of you who like to stay active, trade your gym membership for hiking boots or a bike. Or, if you prefer the comfort of your own backyard, try gardening or sustainable landscaping.

Mostly 4: Play

Fun is where you find your joy. Gather up some friends and take a stab at a roleplaying game, such as Dungeons and Dragons. Or put on your thinking cap and sit down with a jigsaw puzzle (the Pemberton branch has a free puzzle swap), crossword puzzle or other word games. Prefer the crack of a baseball bat or the sound of a soccer stadium after a game-winning goal? Try playing (or watching!) a new sport.

There’s truly something for nearly every interest at the library!
