Stuck Inside This Winter? Get Moving, Exploring and Reading!

When winter weather keeps kids indoors for too long, they can start to get a bit antsy. If your family is feeling restless, the library has plenty of fun ways to get out of the house, or turn storytime and screen time into something active, creative and cozy. Bundle up, grab your library card and try something new this winter!

Get Outside

Take a StoryWalk®

Reading meets the outdoors with StoryWalk® at the Burlington County Library in Westampton. Kids can move their bodies, enjoy fresh air and read a story one page at a time along a walking path.

Visit a Kid-Friendly Museum

Cold days are perfect for museum adventures! With free museum passes from the library, families can explore hands-on exhibits designed just for kids!

Go to the Library

Attend a Library Program

From storytimes and crafts to games and special programs, library events give kids a reason to get out of the house and try something new. Many events are designed for families and kids of all ages.
