Public access computers, WiFi and popular software and applications are available at libraries throughout the system.
Computer Workstations
Desktop computers are available for public use on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- To ensure a computers is available when you need it, you may make a 2-hour reservation by calling a library location.
- You will need a library card to use a computer, but guests may request a 2-hour courtesy pass. The guest pass may be renewed for another session if there are no reservations.
- Printing service is available for a nominal fee. Black and white prints are 10 cents per page. Color prints are 20 cents per page. You may also send requests for prints from your mobile device, laptop or home computer.
Computers are also available in the children's department with access to general applications and software in addition to educational learning games made possible by our partners at Magic Desktop.

- Firefox Browser
- Chrome Browser
Select computers in the Children's Services departments are equipped with Magic Desktop, a digital learning software that keeps kids engaged in a safe environment.
Laptops for In-Library Use
At Burlington County Library, you can borrow a laptop computer for in-library use. No library card is required to use this service!
- Laptop computers come loaded with WiFi access to the library's network, Microsoft Office applications and other software found on our desktop computers.
- These are loaned on a first-come first-serve basis and must be used on-site.
- To borrow an in-house laptop, visit the Reference Desk and present a valid government-issued ID.
In addition, a laptop compatible with GED proctoring software is available.
Internet & WiFi
All library locations provide access to wireless internet access for customers. You may connect to the the WiFi by connecting to "Burlco".
Please note that the Internet & Computer Use Policy applies to personal laptops connected to our WiFi.

All library locations offer access to our WiFi network. While access is free, by its nature, public Wi-Fi networks are not secure. If security is important to you, you should connect to a VPN or avoid accessing or conducting sensitive, personal or financial transactions on public Wi-Fi networks.
To increase security, use firewall and antivirus software, keep your operating system up to date, turn file sharing off, and encrypt sensitive files.

You may reserve a computer by calling your local library. Reservations are made for 2-hour blocks of time and we hold your reservation for 15-minutes if you are unable to arrive at the start of your session.

We can assist in multiple ways. You may look for computer classes on our calendar. If you need personalized attention for specific tasks, you may schedule a one-on-one appointment where you meet with a staff for a 60-minute session.
