About us

The Bordentown Library has been part of the community’s rich history since 1841. The two-story library offers a large children’s room downstairs complete with a vibrant underwater mural and program room. Upstairs the library boasts a technology center, historic portraits of community leaders through the years and a cozy reading area by the fireplace. The Bordentown Library joined the library system in 1971.

Bordentown Library features a wide variety of fiction selections and ample seating for immediate reading.
Bordentown Library's Technology Center featres several PCs arranged so that the space can be used for private research or for group learning.
Bordentown Library features an Atlas of the World near the fireplace.
Bordentown Library's Teen Zone is equipped with ample seating and a special collection for young adult readers.
Three seahorses are pictured in the large, Youth Services mural. These seahorses are based on three librarians that used to work at the library.
