Unite with fellow enthusiasts of everything from Dungeons & Dragons to WWE, horror to fantasy. Enjoy dynamic presentations, dive into gaming and browse unique finds from local vendors. Between sessions, meet the panelists and presenters, and shop for comics, collectibles and more.

Dress up as your favorite character or come as you are — either way, Fandom Fest is the perfect place to celebrate your passions and fandoms!

Ryan M. Brady

Ryan M. Brady writes, pencils, inks, colors, and publishes his independent comics, The Bolt and Anomaly. He is also the owner of Camden's Comics founded in 2013. He seeks to inspire the next generation through diverse, action-packed superhero tales rooted in heart, heroism and hope.

Jay Cooper

Jay Cooper is the illustrator of 29 books, including the New York Times and USA TODAY best-selling graphic novel series The Last Comics On Earth, the national best-seller Your Guide To Not Getting Murdered In A Quaint English Village and the most recent solve-it-yourself mystery, You Are The Detective: The Creeping Hand Murder.

Elizabeth “Amber Love” Delaney

Elizabeth "Amber Love" Delaney (She/Her) is a New Jersey author of comics, short stories and novels and a member of the National and Tri-state Sisters in Crime chapters. She is a part of the LGBTQ+ population and the author of the medium-boiled amateur sleuth Farrah Wethers Mysteries.

Mike Dawson

Mike Dawson is the award-winning author of the Junior Library Guild Gold Standard select middle-grade graphic novel series, The Fifth Quarter. His comics and cartoons have also appeared at The New Yorker, Slate, The Nib, Romper and in the pages of The New York Times! 

Joyce Weisbecker

Joyce Weisbecker is the first female commercial video game designer and the first independent video game developer. Her first commercial game was the TV Schoolhouse I for the RCA II console in 1976 followed by Speedway and Tag for the same console. She has also worked as a research and product development actuary and as a radar systems engineer.

Mr. Yumy Odom

Mr. Yumy Odom is the founder of East Coast Black Age of Comics Convention (ECBACC, Inc.), the nation’s first full-service comic book convention and 501(c)(3) nonprofit literacy and arts organization. Founded in 2002, ECBACC offers first-rate professional comic book industry workshops and trainings, comic book mini-cons and more!

  • Experience Virtual Reality video games in the Story Room*
  • Sit down with friends and family to play some old school and modern video games!
  • Roll the dice and challenge others to a board game!
  • Complete the Fandom Fest Scavenger Hunt -- solve the clues, and find all of the comic book characters hidden around the library!
  • Film a WWE Promo video -- step into the ring and create a segment that shows off your original wrestling character. Are you the villain or the hero? Who is your arch nemesis? What's your walk out song? You decide!

*Virtual Reality is available for guests 13 and older. Guests under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian signature to participate. VR Waivers must be signed before you can participate.
