Yes! If you are looking for a learning opportunity that works with your schedule, one-on-one assistance is available at all of our branch library locations. All library locations offer access to our Wi-Fi network. While access is free, by its nature, public Wi-Fi networks are not secure.  If security is important to you, you should connect to a VPN or avoid accessing or conducting sensitive, personal or financial transactions on public Wi-Fi networks.

To increase security, use firewall and antivirus software, keep your operating system up to date, turn file sharing off, and encrypt sensitive files.

You may reserve a computer by calling your local library. Reservations are made for 2-hour blocks of time and we hold your reservation for 15-minutes if you are unable to arrive at the start of your session.

We can assist in multiple ways. You may look for computer classes on our calendar. If you need personalized attention for specific tasks, you may schedule a one-on-one appointment where you meet with a staff for a 60-minute session

If you don’t have a BCLS card, you can request a 2-hour guest pass. If no one has reserved a computer session, you may renew your session for another session. Guest pass users must provide identification.

Our public-access computers reboot each time you log off your session. This allows us to wipe away personal information, logins or any installed software.

Customers who are 18 years old and older can borrow a free mobile WiFi hotspot by visiting the Circulation Desk at any location with your library card or ID. Up to three devices can be checked out at a time. Learn More
