Free Online Tutoring Service Now Available!

The HelpNow digital tutoring is available 24/7 for BCLS cardholders

As students settle into the new school year, we are excited to announce a powerful new tool to help with homework, test prep and academic success. Through a partnership with HelpNow by BrainFuse., BCLS cardholders can now access free online tutoring and study support anytime, anywhere!

The service provides instant, on-demand help across all grade levels and subjects—elementary through high school—plus personalized assistance from live tutors daily from 2 to 11 pm. Available 24/7, HelpNow is designed to support students as they tackle homework assignments, prepare for standardized tests or build subject-specific skills.

“The Burlington County Library was New Jersey’s first county library when it was created more than a century ago, and the library system continues to expand and evolve to meet the changing needs of our residents,” said Burlington County Commissioner Director Felica Hopson. “Offering a free online tutoring service is a great new addition to the numerous digital programs the library offers to students, job seekers and lifelong learners. It’s a completely free service that’s available to all BCLS cardholders.”

“Burlington County’s libraries are much more than books. We offer cardholders a wide range of digital programs and services, including digital and audio books; acclaimed movies, documentaries and instructional videos; online newspapers and periodicals, journals and databases, directories and more,” said BCLS Director Ranjna Das. “The HelpNow tutorial service is a great new addition and we’re excited to offer it as the new school year begins.”

To further bridge the digital divide, we also offer Chromebooks, tablets and mobile WiFi hotspots—ensuring that students without access to technology at home can still take advantage of these resources.

“Education is the great equalizer, and the Burlington County Library System offers a full range of programs and services that can help residents of all ages find success at school, college or careers,” said Burlington County Commissioner Deputy Director Allison Eckel, the liaison to County schools. “The new tutoring service is the perfect back-to-school resource. We want to encourage all Burlington County students and their families to sign up for a BCLS library card so they can take advantage of the tutoring and all the other great services the library system offers.”
