2. Build Our Endowment Fund
Help build long-term financial sustainability
Our endowment fund is designed to spin off annual income to benefit the BCLS Foundation, typically 5% of the value of the fund. We have partnered with the Community Foundation of South Jersey to manage donations. Every gift grows over time in this professionally invested fund, allowing more money to be distributed as the value increases.
3. Donate Through Your Donor-Advised Fund
Help build long-term financial sustainability
If you hold a donor advised fund, you can recommend a grant to the BCLS Foundation. Please consult with your donor-advised fund provider on how to direct and process your grant. These funds are administered by organizations whose sole purpose is to manage charitable donations on behalf of donors.
4. Redirect Funds for Tax-Advantages
Make the Library Foundation a direct recipient of part of the minimum required distributions from your IRA - a gift that reduces your taxes by reducing your adjusted gross income. Your tax advisor can help you assess the best way to become a library supporter.
